2016: Metro Parks Tacoma Specialized Recreation
Specialized Recreation partnered with us to create the Groovin' 2 dance class. This inclusive dance class is sensitive to the needs of children with autism and other special needs, and it's very popular and fun! 2014: Children's Museum of Tacoma
CMT has partnered with us to bring our monthly support group to the museum. With their help, we are able to provide inclusive play opportunities for kids while parents get some respite and are able to learn from our speaker, as well as make valuable connections with other parents. |
2015: Concordia Lutheran School
CLS invited us to provide "invisible differences" education to their entire student body, one classroom at a time. They are creating the next generation of advocates for our families. 2013: Above the Board Construction ATB donated our beautiful office space and treated us like family. Use of their space allowed us to expand our reach to families and also forge new community partnerships. |

Thank you to the wonderful families of the children featured in the photographs on our website. These children are the reason we exist and strive to do more. We appreciate you sharing your child's beautiful face and spirit with us. They continue to be our inspiration!
Our nonprofit and support group were featured in the Children's Museum of Tacoma's 2013 "Playing Under the Stars" fundraiser video. The fundraising focus was how the museum can further build their relationship with and better serve the special needs community. We are proud to be a part of those efforts and thank the museum for letting our Executive Director, speak at their gala immediately following the viewing of this video. We hope our efforts can help to further their work, and ours as well. Please watch the video below to learn about the positive impact we are helping to make on the Pierce County special needs community through our partnership.
